On The Island Apparel produces every order out of a single Huntington, NY shop at 205 East Main Street. DTF printing, multi-head embroidery, CO2 laser engraving, art workstations, and the blanks inventory all live in the same building. Same team takes the call, runs the press, and packs the carton. What's in the building
Three production stations, art workstations, blanks inventory.
Everything OTIA decorates moves through one of three machines in our Huntington shop. Each one lives in the same building as the people who run it.
DTF press
Direct-to-film transfer station for full-color prints on tees, hoodies, jackets, bags, and any fabric the design needs to read sharp on. Handles cotton, polyester, blends, fleece, tri-blends, and performance fabrics out of the same press.
Multi-head embroidery machine
Computerized embroidery for polos, hats, jackets, vests, fleece, uniforms, and hospitality apparel. Digitization happens at the shop on the art workstation next to the machine.
CO2 laser engraver
Precision engraving on drinkware, leather, wood, slate, glass, anodized stainless, anodized aluminum, powder-coated metal, and acrylic. Awards, corporate gifts, branded promo, and one-off personalization all run on the same laser.
Art workstations
Where artwork gets cleaned up, vectorized, color-matched, and laid out for the press. Every file is reviewed at the workstation before it touches a machine — no surprises mid-run.
Blanks inventory
Active inventory of popular blanks across the apparel suppliers we run most often (S&S Activewear, SanMar, and others), plus staged customer-supplied garments waiting for decoration.

OTIA is open to walk-ins for project consults, artwork drop-offs, sample handling, and order pickups. The shop is at 205 East Main Street, Suite 2-1, in Huntington, NY 11743.
Posted hours vary by week — the production schedule and trade-show calendar shifts what the floor looks like on a given Tuesday. For a guaranteed time to walk the floor or talk through a project in person, schedule via /contact and we'll confirm a window the same business day.

Why local matters
Same team quotes, runs, and packs the order.
The shop being one building, one team, one address changes what the experience looks like in practice. The person quoting your job is the person responsible for whether the machine that runs it does so on time. There is no broker buffer to absorb a missed deadline. There is no out-of-state production partner whose calendar you have to work around.
It also changes how problems get solved. A printing error caught at QC gets re-run the same afternoon — the press is already set up, the blanks are already on hand, and the team that can fix it is in the room. A national online printer has to ship a replacement order through whichever fulfillment center happens to have stock, which adds days to a recovery that should take hours.
And it changes how a relationship compounds. When you come back for the second order, the third, the tenth, the same people remember your art, your color tolerances, your placement preferences, and the weird thing that happened on the second hoodie last December. That is the entire upside of working with a local shop.
